Casas Patronales grundades 1990. År 2001 utökade och moderniserade man vineriet och i januari 2003, började firman exportera sina viner. Egendomen omfattar totalt 150 hektar, varav 30 hektar är planterade med carmenère.
Serveras vid 16-18°C till rätter av lamm- eller nötkött, gärna grillat.
