SUSTAINABILITY
Tegnér has worked with wine since 1880. Clotilde Davenne in Chablis has been part of our portfolio since 2009, alongside producers like Muga in Rioja and Ramsbury Distillery in Wiltshire. Long relationships allow lower-impact decisions to compound over time, from lightweight bottles below 400 g and sea freight rather than air to organic certification, biodynamic certification and single-estate operations at Ramsbury.
Tegnér Spirits & Wine is a member of Sprit- och vinleverantörsföreningen. Marketing across our group companies follows Alkohollagen and Marknadsföringslagen, with age gates, no consumer alcohol marketing on social media and no marketing to anyone under 25.
OUR APPROACH
Sustainability is handled in producer selection, logistics, packaging and communication. The work is organised in four focus areas.
Tegnér has distributed Clotilde Davenne's wines since 2009. Producer changes are rare. Long relationships make it possible to follow cultivation, packaging and logistics over time.
Ramsbury Distillery runs single-estate in Wiltshire: grain, water and distillation on the same farm. For wine, lightweight glass is specified where the wine type allows it. Sea freight is used before air where possible and Swedish deliveries are consolidated through shared logistics.
Producer selection, packaging and communication are handled with a long time horizon. Two-thirds of the portfolio comes from family-owned producers with documented experience of organic or biodynamic farming.
We follow Alkohollagen and Marknadsföringslagen across all communication: no marketing aimed at people under 25, age-gates on every group site, no consumer-facing alcohol marketing on social media. Tegnér is a member of Sprit- och vinleverantörsföreningen and follows the industry's self-regulation programme for responsible alcohol communication.
